Grant Development
Since 2006, Reza Environmental has been a key contributor to several Integrated Regional Water Management (IRWM) planning and implementation grants through Propositions 50, 84 and 1, awarded by the California Department of Water Resources and State Water Quality Control Board. These grants have resulted in the influx of tens of millions of dollars for water resources planning and projects to improve water quality, enhance water supply reliability, improve salmonid habitat, and address environmental justice. We have also submitted grants for local agencies and nonprofit organizations that have funded projects including exotic species removal, environmental education, sustainable agriculture, working lands planning and implementation, and stream and habitat restoration. Project involvement is tailored to client need – services range from developing an entire proposal to directing the work of other subcontractors to crafting language for specific grant sections.
Successful Proposals Include:
USDA Regional Conservation Partnership Program
State Coastal Conservancy Bay Area Climate Ready Program
